Submit Manuscript
(Ref: https://confcomm.ieee-eds.org/app/docs/submit-paper )
Login to https://confcomm.ieee-eds.org/
After login, users are shown the list of open conferences. For conferences still accepting manuscripts (choose 2026 10th IEEE Electron Devices Technology & Manufacturing Conference (EDTM)), it will be possible to click on the 'Submit manuscript' button, which will open the submission form. Some tracks or special sessions may have submission deadlines different from the general one of the conference, so if the deadline for the conference has been reached, it would only be possible to submit manuscripts to those tracks or special sessions.
Most fields in the manuscript submission form are self-explanatory, but there are some special considerations to be taken into account:
- When adding a keyword, it is necessary to push the Enter key to register it. This allows complex keywords to be added, as it can be seen in the following example (where the third keyword has not been added yet).
- When adding the PDF document for a manuscript, a list with a single element will be displayed. To check that the PDF has been uploaded correctly, click on the eye-shaped icon and the PDF document will open in the browser. Please make sure to upload the document with the correct version of your work before submitting.
3. There are two ways to add authors to a paper:
-
The best way is to use the search box and click on the 'Add registered author' button. If the user with the given email is already registered, he/she will be automatically added to the manuscript using the information available in the system.
-
Non-registered people can be manually added as authors by clicking on the 'Add unregistered author' button and filling out the corresponding form. This form should only be used after the search procedure described above returns no results. Make sure you know the emails your co-authors used to register to the system.
It is important to note that the author marked as contact is the only one allowed to perform actions related to the submission process, such as final version upload or copyright transfer. By default, the user making the initial submission is marked as the contact, but this can be changed if required.
Clicking on the 'Check Submission' button will show the confirmation screen, including the manuscript information to be checked before completing the submission.
Once the submission is completed, all authors will receive an email confirming it.
The EDTM 2026 only accepts 3-page A4-size manuscripts, including text, figures, tables, and references, based on the EDTM conference template ( which is based on the 2024 IEEE conference template, https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates ). Download the MS Word Template and the LaTeX template.
The manuscript needs to be submitted in IEEE Xplorer-compatible PDF format. The authors are advised to use the paper template available here. Authors should read it carefully and write papers according to this guideline.
The three-page manuscript must include:
- Title of your final paper (based on template)
- Name and affiliation (based on template)
- The text should be clearly divided into different sections and should include explanations of new results, findings and their significance while clearly stating experimental and computational conditions. The abstract should clearly state the purpose of the work.
Submit Final Version (upon acceptance)
(Ref: https://confcomm.ieee-eds.org/app/docs/submit-final)
The final version of an accepted manuscript (initial_approved state) can only be submitted by the contact author. The co-authors of the manuscript will not be able to submit the final version.
The final submission form can be accessed from the 'Manuscripts > Current' option in the side menu. In this section, the manuscripts submitted by the user and those in which/she is a co-author are listed.
By clicking on the icon with a right-pointing arrow, the details of the corresponding manuscript can be accessed.
By clicking on the 'Final Version' button on top of this section, the final submission form appears. The main action to be performed in this form is to attach the document with the final version. You need to use the IEEE PDF eXpress Plus site at https://ieee-pdf-express.org/account/login) site to create/validate your PDF for IEEE Xplore compliance. Read the instructions at https://ieee-edtm.org/files/65772X.pdf before preparing the final manuscript. All other information is preloaded as stored in the system. Once the process is completed, the final version and related information can be accessed from the details of the manuscript.
Copyright Transfer
( Ref: https://confcomm.ieee-eds.org/app/docs/sign-copyright)
Authors of accepted manuscripts must transfer the copyright to IEEE in order for the manuscript to be included in the conference proceedings and submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore. This can be done only by the contact author either before (initial_approved state) or after (final_submitted state) the final version of the manuscript has been submitted. The co-authors of the manuscript will not be able to sign the copyright transfer form. Once this process has been completed, it cannot be repeated unless, for some reason, changes have to be made to the final submission, which requires authorization from conference organizers.
The copyright transfer form can be accessed from the 'Manuscripts > Current' option in the side menu. In this section, the manuscripts submitted by the user and those in which/she is a co-author are listed.
By clicking on the icon with a right-pointing arrow, the details of the corresponding manuscript can be accessed.
By clicking on the 'Sign IEEE Copyright' button on the top of this section, the copyright transfer form appears:
Clicking on the 'Sign Copyright' button will open the IEEE copyright transfer page, where the signature process can be carried out by following the steps indicated there. The internal process at IEEE can take up to 24 hours to be completed, so in turn, this is the time it may take for changes to be reflected in the details of the manuscript ('Manuscript Marks' section).
Notification of Acceptance
Authors of accepted papers will be notified by 12nd December 2025. The accepted papers will be published in IEEE Xplore. In any case for getting your work accepted for platform presentation or poster presentation, high quality abstract submission is a must. The paper must be presented at the conference by one of the listed authors. For every paper / poster, a unique registration is mandatory.
Privacy Policy
Before paper submission, please read through the EDTM2026 Privacy Policy.
